We’ve been play testing and drinking wine. More one than the other really, but I suppose that’s the process. Our process. Process may be a strong word. Regardless, the game can currently be played, multiple times even, and that is a comforting thought.
We are firmly into the polishing aspect of the games mechanics. Several of our play testers have wondered what this is all about and honestly on my part its math. We’ve solved the mathematical discrepancies that bring gameplay to a grinding halt, but our mechanics still need some love to keep the game cruising at optimum speed; 88mph. I presume that Jason’s experience in play testing focuses more on clarifying the word formation than my number crunching. It’s amazing how others can twist and distort what seemed a simple progression of words with a defined meaning, but as it stands our language is a mess. Break out your thesaurus; there’s work to be done
Our current aim for all of this is some form of springtime crowd funding campaign. With all of the bits now in order we’ve turned our thoughts toward what shiny objects we can offer as incentives. Hopefully these ideas will resonate with others because I want them to take physical form. More soon.
Lastly, like this blog, our social media engine has taken off. We’ve got the Facebook, Twitter, Newsletter, and Website all up and running at maximum efficiency. If you want to stay up to date on what is happening, those are the places.
